Rangoli
Layered petals in colour at the doorway, and at each corner.
The coloured floor art drawn at the doorway for a festival or a wedding: rings of petals at the top and foot of the page and a quarter-rangoli in each corner, the middle left clear. Joyful, and made for a wedding in the Diwali season.

Drawn at the door, to welcome whoever comes
Rangoli is drawn at the threshold in coloured powder, rice or petals, to welcome guests and good fortune into a home — most of all at Diwali, and on a wedding morning. It has a name in almost every language: kolam, alpana, mandana, muggulu. This style draws half a rangoli at the top and foot of the page and a quarter in each corner.
It is joyful, colourful and immediately festive, the card that feels like a door someone has decorated for you. It is made for a wedding in the Diwali season, and for families who greet every occasion with colour at the door.
Good for
- Weddings in the festive season
- Families who celebrate with colour
- Rani, marigold or peacock
The style sets the envelope, the opening card, the dividers and the closing, and the typeface your names are set in. Everything else is the same in every style — each guest greeted by name, only their celebrations, directions to each venue — and it can be changed at any time, even after the invitation has been sent.
