Mehendi
An invitation for the afternoon of henna and music.
The Mehendi is a long, unhurried afternoon: henna for the bride and whoever else sits still long enough, music, food, and a great deal of catching up. Guests need to know when to arrive, where, and what to wear — and the couple needs to know how many are coming, before the henna artists are booked.
Its own afternoon, its own guest list
Every celebration on the invitation carries its own date, time, venue and dress code. The Mehendi can be the afternoon before the wedding in the garden at home, and say greens and florals, while the Reception two days later says Indian formal at a hotel.
Each guest sees only the celebrations they are invited to, so a Mehendi for the bride's side and close friends stays theirs.
A headcount you can hand to the henna artist
When a guest replies, they choose which of their celebrations they are coming to, and how many of their party. The replies arrive as numbers for each celebration — how many for the Mehendi, how many for the Sangeet — rather than as messages somebody has to count.
Afterwards, the guestbook
The invitation carries a guestbook where relatives leave blessings, and it stays open after the day. Some of the best ones arrive from people who could not be at the Mehendi and watched the videos instead.

What families ask
Can guests reply to the Mehendi separately from the wedding?
Yes. A guest invited to more than one celebration chooses which ones they are coming to in the same reply, and you see the count for each.
Can we call it Mehndi, or Mehendi Raat?
Yes. Every celebration can be renamed, and the invitation uses your name for it everywhere.
What if the Mehendi moves to the morning?
Change the time once in your dashboard. Every guest's link shows the new time from then on, so nobody is holding an out-of-date card.
